Founded in 1917, Altrusa is relevant to many civic leaders who want to better their communities by addressing local needs. Over 10,000 Altrusans around the world proudly give over a million volunteer hours a year.
The Altrusa International of Southern CA Virtual Club was founded in November 2020 and is a pioneer by having members in two countries, engaging members remotely to improve our communities worldwide. Like eagles, Altrusa International of Southern CA Virtual Club members are intentional and determined visionaries soaring above the rest to help those less fortunate, with a primary focus on empowerment through education and literacy.
