OUR PROJECTS
Get Involved
Our community service has no borders. Our current projects support sustainability for indigenous families, the needs of young human trafficking survivors, and basic needs of the homeless and inmates in Mexico. As we continue to grow our membership and network, our passions will lead us to serving more communities around the world in different capacities. Together, we are helping our global community soar to new heights.
Founded in 2012 in Chihuahua, Mexico, Machi-Ko, AC is dedicated to educating the indigenous peoples in the Sierra Tarahumara, bringing them knowledge to be independent and sustainable communities.
We are bringing light and hope to the Tarahumara by donating solar-powered Luci Lights. Our goal is to donate 895 Luci Lights. So far, we've donated 160. Thank you Altrusa Club of Chula Vista, Inc. Foundation for supporting our cause by donating 80 Luci Lights, and thank you to the Altrusa International Foundation for donating 77! With these lights, children will be able to study at all hours of the day, they can check on their crops in the early evening, and light up their fencing to keep their livestock safe from predators.

We are improving the quality of life and health of the Tarahumara communities by donating Uzima Water Filters. Our goal is to donate 610 filters for their homes and communities. So far, we've donated 8 filters and a demo kit to educate them about the importance of drinking clean water. These families are prone to getting blisters in their mouths and waterborne diseases due to unsafe drinking water.
Founded in 2010 in San Diego, California, and Tijuana, Mexico, International Network of Hearts (Red Binacional de Corazones, AC) is committed to bringing hope, safety, and empowerment to youth survivors of human trafficking and sexual violence.

Founded in 2003, the Eudist Servants of the 11th Hour are a group of elder sisters who have the mission to minister to the poor and the needy in both the U.S. and Mexico. In Tijuana, they serve inmates and their families, and women and children with cancer.
