School Supply Tsunami

Our club coordinated a district-wide service project collecting school supplies for the children of La Casa del Jardín. It started with a collection of donations at our 2022 Altrusa District Eleven Conference. We were later awarded a grant by the Altrusa International Foundation. Overall, we donated over 1,200 school and art supplies, including a desktop computer, with a total value of $4,900.

Since we started our School Supply Tsunami project, a wave of new service projects have been initiated by various clubs in our District in support of the children rescued and sheltered by International Network of Hearts. Thank you Altrusa District Eleven members for supporting the academic success and recovery of young survivors of human trafficking!
